What are Cycling Tours and Why go on One?
Cycling tours are a great way to experience new places and get a taste on what you’re missing out on. They are the best way to discover your new favourite place, or even just to change up what you see. You can learn a lot about a place through, and you will get taken on a journey like no other. Doing a tour is also another way to keep social. Whether it’s meeting new people, or going with your friends, it is definitely a good way to keep social whilst exercising and taking in the beautiful scenery.
What kinds of Tours are there?
There are two main types of tours for you to partake in. There are guided holidays and tours, and there are also self-guided tours.
Cycling Holidays and Tours
Cycling holidays, along with tours, are a way to go cycling with a guide and group. Such tours are great way to learn about a new place from an experienced guide. These tours can be completed in a day. It may be a place that you’ve never been to before, or it may be a place that you have always wanted to learn about. Either which way, it allows for you to go back in the future, knowing all about that beautiful location.
Self-Guided Tours
Self-guided tours are the best way to go cycling at new locations if you are not a big fan on the guided tours. Whether you go alone or with friends, it is still one of the best ways to discover a new location. You are able to plan your own route for the ride, and it gives you the satisfaction of uncovering a place for yourself. You can still learn a lot about a place even without a guide, instead by just taking it in.
